Cranberries are majorly grown in Canada and America. It has acidic and sweet flavor, and they are little shrub is grown up to 7 feet and 3 to 8 inch in height. There so many variations by which you can make cranberry salad, you can use fresh, dried or on sauce form or juice form. The addition of cranberry gives the extra zing to any salad.

Fresh cranberry is used to make cranberry salad and is an excellent source of vitamin C, fibre, manganese and many other nutrients. Popularly it is made in Christmas seasons and on Thanksgiving dinner.

Herein are, the Different Types of Cranberry Salad:

Green Cranberry Salad

The dressing of the Green cranberry salad:

Take a blender jar put ¼ cups of cranberries, half teaspoon of fresh garlic, one tablespoon of olive oil, two tablespoons of wine vinegar, one tablespoon of mustard sauce, half teaspoon of black pepper, salt to taste and two tablespoons of water. Blend everything till smooth paste. Take from the jar and keep aside.

Now make a big bowl put one small sized sliced onion, Two cups of lettuce leaves, iceberg lettuce leaves, rocket leaves and seasonal whatever greens are available. Toasted and sliced one cup of almonds, half cup of feta cheese crumbled and a half cup of sliced cucumber. Pour the dressing on the bowl and mix properly. Your lip-smacking green cranberry salad is ready to serve.

Toasted pecan and cranberry salad

The dressing of the toasted pecan and cranberry salad:

Take a small bowl add, half teaspoon of sugar, half teaspoon of salt, half teaspoon of black pepper, half teaspoon of mustard sauce, half tablespoon of raspberry vinegar and two tablespoons of olive oil, Wisk till the sugar dissolves and keep aside.

Now take a big bowl, put two cups of whichever green salad available, half cup of dried cranberries, one small sized onion sliced, half cup of cheese of your liking and a half cup of toasted pecans. Now pour the dressing and toss the toasted pecan and it properly and serve.

Orange and cranberry salad

The dressing of orange and cranberry salad:

Take a small bowl add a half teaspoon of sugar, half teaspoon of grated or finely chopped fresh ginger,  ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice, one teaspoon of olive oil and salt to taste. Wisk properly till the sugar dissolves and keeps aside.

Take a big bowl put one cup of peeled orange section, half cup of frozen or fresh cranberries, ¼ cups of finely chopped celery, one small sized finely chopped onion, two tablespoons of torn fresh mint and a half cup of finely chopped cucumber. Pour the dressing and toss your orange and cranberry salad properly is ready to serve.

Walnut and Cranberry Salad

The dressing of walnut and cranberry salad:

Take a blender jar put one teaspoon of balsamic vinegar, half teaspoon of mustard paste, two teaspoons of cranberries, half teaspoon of black pepper, one tablespoon of olive oil, a pinch of sugar and salt to taste. Blend everything and make a smooth paste and keep aside.

Take a big bowl, put one cup of greens available, one cup of apple peel, cored and thinly sliced. Add the dressing prepared and toss till coated properly and at last add on a top half cup of toasted walnuts. You’re delicious and sumptuous walnut, and cranberry salad is ready to serve.

Fresh cranberry salad

Take one big bowl add, one cup of chopped fresh cranberry, half cup of chopped fresh pineapple, half cup of chopped apple. Now take one orange or mandarin squeeze on the fruits. Then add ¼ cup of toasted peanuts and, half teaspoon of black pepper and salt to taste and at last add one tablespoon of honey and toss and mix properly and serve your fresh cranberry salad.

Pear cranberry salad

The dressing of pear and cranberry salad:

Take a small bowl add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, one teaspoon of mustard sauce, one teaspoon of olive oil, half teaspoon of black pepper, one tablespoon of honey and salt to taste. If you want little spicy can also add red chilli powder or red chilli flakes. Whisk everything properly and keep aside.

Take a big bowl add one cup of leafy greens available, half cup of pear peeled and diced in a small cube, half cup of fresh cranberries, half cup of watermelon diced, half cup of feta cheese crumbled, half cup of diced cucumber and a half cup of toasted almonds. Now pour the dressing prepared on salad and toss and mix properly, your tasty and mouth-watering pear cranberry salad is ready to serve.
